Shepherd SS/9 Bagpipes are top of the range in the Shepherd Bagpipes Range featuring full hallmarked engraved sterling silver which is gold plated. They are made from turned African Blackwood which is fully combed and beaded and are commonly described as full gold. All the mounts are hallmarked engraved gold plated sterling silver. This includes projecting mounts, slides, ferrules on the stocks and each drone. The bell tops are finished with hallmarked engraved gold plated sterling silver ringcaps and the blowpipe is finished with a hallmarked engraved gold plated sterling silver mouthpiece. The chanter also comes with a hallmarked engraved gold plated sterling silver sole. The hallmarked gold plated sterling silver mounts are available in Thistle, Runic or Zoomorphic engraving as pictured below.......
